The Oceanic Delta4/CDX-5 is an above average regulator with only a very slightly "stiff" feel to the breathing. I found the "cracking adjustment" knob (which determines how much inhalation effort is required to open the valve) was a little frustrating in surge. The first stage tended to free-flow if the inhalation effort was tuned to minimal. I've used other regulators with cracking adjustment knobs that did not suffer the same problem (namely the Aqualung Legend LX ACD & the Scubapro S600/MK-25). The first stage is very light in the mouth. Bubble interference is the same as most other regulators. Still it must be said that the Oceanic is better than other regulators I've tried in this price bracket.
