Underwater Kinetics Blue-Tang HYDRALLOY Steel Knife, Blunt Point
Good knife, bad sheath. a review of the Underwater Kinetics Blue-Tang HYDRALLOY Steel Knife, Blunt Point by EddieG
Not so expensive that you can't lose it, but that's a good thing since it feels like you will. The sheath's one-hand release system locks securely in place, but feels like it will either wear or catch on something. I always carry a backup knife and/or shears, because I haven't yet found a good sheath that holds onto the knife and lets go of it when I need it.
The knife itself looks great, has a good edge, etc. The blade doesn't rust, and it doesn't seem to have any other fittings/screws/metal pieces made of cheaper metals that WILL rust. Never understood why manufacturers do that... Anyway, if you need a knife, this is a good one - just be wary of the sheath, and carry an extra blade.
