Great kids' set... a review of the Blue Reef Kids Mask Fin & Snorkel Set by Jim
At 4 and 6, my kids are much too young to go out reef diving with me - but they love the water, and always want to go "diving" with their dad. I got them each one of these sets and swim around near shore with them - they just love it. I'm impressed with how well they can clear the masks already, but the flippers are just hilarious construction - you get what you pay for, but the kids don't yet have refined taste in fins, so they're fine with them.
I think it's pretty clear what kind of quality these are - definitely better than a comparable set you could buy at a big toy store, but these are certainly meant for someone with no diving experience and who isn't in currents or anything. If you want to get a "diving" set for your young kids, you can't really go wrong here.
