Ugly Fins... a review of the Tusa Platina Plus Open Heel Fins by EddieG
These fins look and feel awful. Got them as a birthday present, and so I have to take them on at least a few dives before I go buy myself some better ones. To be honest I think they're a little bit too flimsy for me. When I try to kick with the Platina Plus (frog or flutter) I just don't feel like I'm getting as much propulsion from my kicks as I should - my feet often slice sideways through the water instead of actually pushing me. I'm in the process of changing to split fins, but maybe I should work on my kick too. Happy diving!
